While doing research on a project which involved going through assets for old JGTC and Super GT stuff, I came across a series of images from printed brochures that were used during every round of the race series from the early '90s to 2000s. These were just pamphlets that were handed out to people who attended the races so much of this content is long gone or lost media. I thought it would be cool to turn these into large posters because they make for great decor and since I collect a lot of scale models featuring race cars from that era, that work perfectly hung up in my shop.
There are a lot of you guys who enjoy JTCC, JGTC and Super GT cars from that era who might want some of these as wall decor too. They look great in your garage or home and give off a very nostalgic feel considering the time period from which these graphics came. I resized them, cleaned them up and moved some of the artwork around so it fits into a 16x20 print. I didn't add anything at all or try to change any of the artwork. I wanted them to remain true to how they were presented back then and anything that was changed was only done so in an effort to fit them in a way where people can frame them and stuff doesn't get cut-off.
This particular print is from Round 1-2 of the Japanese Touring Car Championship series which took place at Fuji Speedway on the weekend of April 5-6 in 1997.
