Ebbro 1/43 scale version of the JOMO NISMO Skyline, which was the first R33 chassis to ever compete in the All Japan Grand Touring Championship in 1995.
"Several teams had not yet finished their new R33 GT-R competition cars by the time of the first round of the 1995 JGTC at Suzuka. The NISMO works team, though, came ready to race with the latest model, in the JOMO livery and driven by Toshio Suzuki and Akira Iida.
However, the new car would see itself beat by the old guard for outright speed. Hasemi, driving the previous season’s and previous generation GT-R, took pole position in front of the No. 55 car and led the race from the start.
Tire wear and brake issues would see Hasemi drop to fourth before the race was over but in the beginning of the race, when on fresh tires and with healthy brakes, the older R32 could hold its own against the more recent car. In the end, the JOMO R33 would finish behind another R32, the No.1 CALSONIC driven by Masahiko Kageyama, which won the race.
By the next race both the UNISIA JECS and CALSONIC liveries were on new R33 competition cars and at the end of the season, first, second and third in the overall championship went to a Nissan R33 Skyline GT-R."
