M7 Mutiara Motors Amemiya SGC7 Super GT300 2009 [Ebbro 44222]

Ebbro 1/43 Resin model of the M7 Mutiara Motors SGC 7 FD3S RX-7 which competed in the 2010 season of Super GT in the GT300 Class.

The final RX-7 from RE Amemiya Racing used in Super GT driven by both Nobuteru Taniguchi and Ryo Orime. It won Round 1 at Suzuka Circuit during the start of the 2010 season and would later go on to win Round 4 at Sepang International Circuit before withdrawing from the series completely. The RX-7 was then retired and placed in the Motor Racing Museum of Malaysia.

This particular model is one of the most difficult to acquire on the secondhand market, definitely one of the most sought-after, and one of the most interesting being that it was the final RE Amemiya RX-7 that competed in Super GT. It took me forever to find one for myself and this is the second one in my collection since I wanted to make sure I had the cleanest ones for myself.
