Tamiya 1/24 scale version of the 2005 Takata Dome NSX which competed in the Super GT series from their Masterwork Collection.
Have you ever wanted to build a Tamiya model but realized you're actually not any good at it and would just fuck it up? Well Tamiya also considered that when they developed their 1/24 scale model kits and released their "Masterwork Collection" line-up which does all the hard work for you. They have skilled crafters in-house build the entire model and mount it to a base for added protection and display purposes. I had never previously seen any of these before but when this one popped-up I was surprised at just how good the quality was. I guess this is how it is supposed to look if you know what you're doing. I was worried it would show-up from Japan damaged because it's a plastic model but it came in a structurally-sound box and everything came perfectly intact. I was going to keep this just because I think it looks fucking cool but I just don't have space for it.
I have no idea how rare it is because I've never seen another one and I didn't even know they existed.
- Condition is excellent. It's literally a perfectly hand-crafted Tamiya model built by one of their expert builders.
- Only opened for inspection.

- Box itself is structurally good but has scuffs and scratches from age as well as being moved around.
- Car is 100% intact and has never been removed from display base.
