2006 marked the year when Honda moved back full-time to a naturally-aspirated C32B powerplant, after having a nightmarish half-season in 2005 with the twin-turbo V6. Nakajima Racing brought in French rookie Loïc Duval to pair with Japanese rookie Hideki Mutoh to pilot the EPSON NSX for the entire year.
